In April of 2022 chef Marco Sacco—two Michelin stars at Piccolo Lago in Verbania—went ashore on Isola Pescatori, the only one in the Borromeo Gulf to be continuously inhabited, with its tangle of irregular and characteristic streets, cobbled ups and downs, where fishing nets, typical and traditional houses blend timelessly and without motors. Isola Pescatori is a microcosm, and The Verbano, in its privileged position facing Isola Bella, is one of its symbols.
You can choose to have a relaxing pause for lunch or dinner or any time during the day. The Verbano is also a boutique hotel with 12 rooms directly overlooking the water.

Chef Marco Sacco oversees the Piano35 restaurant on the 35th floor of the Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper in Torino, designed by architect Renzo Piano. In 2020, just 8 months after opening, it is awarded a Michelin star under the guidance of chef Christian Balzo.

In this futuristic glass structure that cuts into the sky, the 360-degree view of Torino is magical. The atmosphere is made even more evocative by the indoor bioclimatic greenhouse.
