Summer is in full swing, bringing with it even more opportunities to come together for special events. Among them are two dates organised by the Municipality of Baveno as part of the Baveno e Feriolo d’Incanto festival, where Chef Marco Sacco will delight the audience with two live cooking shows.
On Wednesday, 5 August, at the event area on the Feriolo lakeside promenade (Spiaggia del Bocc), and again on Tuesday, 18 August, in Piazza IV Novembre in Baveno, Risotto sotto le Stelle (“Risotto Under the Stars”) returns. The event features Marco Sacco, renowned chef and ambassador of the lake’s culinary heritage, in two evenings open to both residents and visitors.
Starting at 7:00 pm, Chef Sacco and his team will prepare a special risotto using Guendalina, the legendary 140 cm-wide cooking pot that has become a symbol of conviviality and sharing. Hundreds of freshly prepared portions of risotto will be served directly from the giant pan throughout the evening.
The 5 August event will be accompanied by a live performance from TheCenti as part of the Note d’Estate music festival, while the 18 August evening will feature music and a DJ set in collaboration with Baveno Web Radio.
The initiative is made possible through the collaboration between the Municipality of Baveno, Chef Marco Sacco, Piccolo Lago Restaurant, Un Salto nel Passato O.D.V. Association, and the Comitato Festeggiamenti Feriolese.
